forming ecology
Body Remedy is hosting a second forming ecology day event at Cove Park on Saturday 28th September.
This will be a space for creativity, reflectiveness, connecting with community and resting. There will be a movement workshop, painting workshop and artist talks, as well as an opportunity to walk in and spend time in the countryside around Cove Park. Do as little or as much as you like, it’s up to you. The theme of the workshop programme is centred around the idea of Geological Echoes, which thinks about inhabited landscapes, shapes the earth and communal aliveness.
Coach leaves from Glasgow Central to Cove Park, return. Lunch and refreshment will be provided throughout the day.
FREE and open level for black people and people of colour who identify as women and non-binary. No experience or previous knowledge required for any of the activities. Participants must be over 18

Making our way(s): a painting workshop exploring collaboration and co-creation
Led by Adebusola Ramsay, you will explore the use of colour as a tool to connect our imaginations through acrylic stain painting techniques. Participants are invited to explore ideas of shared ownership as they work towards a collaborative piece together.
Listening session
Cellist Simone Seales plays gentle tunes live, creating an inviting atmosphere for attendees to share poems, lyrics, reflections, words, songs, raps, MC, or simply enjoy the music.
Advisory Group (closed session)
A closed session with Body Remedy advisory group members to work through provocation to support the governance and consideration of the organisation going forward.
